The house
Our house is located in the old town which is filled with charming streets, alleys and squares that offers a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. From the house you have walking distance to almost everything including the famous food market “Marché Provençal” with all the local goodies, open daily from early morning. It is also just a few minutes walk to several beaches and we strongly recommend a trip out on Cap d’Antibes where you can enjoy the amazing nature, fragrant pine trees and the eye-catching houses. Finish off with a drink at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc´s champagne bar to complete the trip (open seasonally).
Antibes
The charming town of Antibes is located on the French Riviera between Nice and Cannes founded by the Greeks 300 BC. The town is lush with beautiful Bougainvillea and French romance and today it is one of the most beloved places on the riviera with its warm and sprawling springs, hot summer months and lukewarm autumns.
The famous food market Marché Provençal is just 200 meters from the door and is one of Antibes main attractions. Here, the locals buy most of their food from the fantastic selection och fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, different kind of meats and charcuteries.
The Port Vauban, one of Europe's largest private boat ports with yachts and sailboats from all over the world contributes to Antibes being a dynamic and international city that unlike some other villages along the coast, actually lives all year round.
Along the city wall there is a beautiful promenade with fantastic views over the Mediterranean, the Alps and far along the Riviera.
